Adisson Toussaint is originally from Haiti where he grew up in a family of farmers. He began farming at the age of 10 years old and learned to grow many varieties of peppers, cucumbers, squash, sweet potatoes, peanuts and different fruits. Adisson went to college to receive a degree in agriculture and upon graduation he became an agronomist for 15 years working for the department of agriculture in Haiti. Soon after he made his way to the US, he now farms independently on a two-acre plot in Sterling MA. His favorite crop to grow are Eggplants because once the plant gets to a certain point in its growing process you kind of just leave it alone to do its thing and it doesn’t utilize so much water
