About Us
Tim Fullen’s first encounter with hand-scale agriculture and local/regional food systems was during his undergraduate study in Geography/Sustainability at Worcester State University from 2010-2013. It wasn’t until seeing empty shelves in 2020 that he started to think about whether he may have a place in one of those food systems.
In 2022, Tim left his career in corporate records and privacy compliance to follow his passion. While there are many ways a person can influence food systems, Tim knew that his place was getting down to the dirt where it all starts. Tim joined New Entry Sustainable Farming Project’s incubator program in 2025 where he intends to round out his growing and business management skillsets while he and his family search for a permanent home for Down to the Dirt Farm.
Down to the Dirt Farm focuses on vegetable production using hand-scale and soil-health focused practices.
