At Upper Hand Farm, Pia specializes in diversified mixed vegetables carefully chosen based on community demand. Her love for tomatoes has led her to cultivate 14 different varieties, aiming to find the perfect blend of flavor and market appeal. Like any dedicated farmer, Pia faces challenges head-on, from battling weeds and pests to balancing multiple jobs. Yet, her greatest reward comes from sharing the fruits of her labor with her community. Seeing the joy on customers’ faces when she delivers fresh produce is what drives her forward.
